Welcome Home, an original play

Basic FB post.png

Four veterans gather around a campfire at a weekend retreat. As the night goes on, these four begin to share stories and find they have a very common history. As stories of their past unfold, these three men and one woman share love, hardships, and trauma and find a deep comfort in each other’s empathy. In this emotional rollercoaster, through laughter and tears, audiences are sure to leave with a new understanding and appreciation for active and retired members of the armed-forces. (Adult and traumatic themes.)

The play was written by Sam Farnsworth, a graduate of the Boston University’s Theatre Arts program, based on a story by JS, Hobbs. It is directed by Regina Diemand, a performer and experienced producer. Performances of “Welcome Home” are scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 10, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 11, 4 p.m., at Workshop 13.

Tickets are now available for both shows. They are $10 for veterans, $15 general admission, plus fees.
