Our Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is designed to assist you in understanding how we collect and use the personal information you provide us and to assist you in making informed decisions when using this site.

What Information Do You Collect?

When you visit this website you may provide us with two types of information: "personal information" you knowingly choose to disclose that is collected on an individual basis and "website use information" collected on an aggregate basis as you and others browse this site.

Personal Information You Choose to Provide

On this entire website, the ONLY way we gain access to your personal information (name, e-mail address, etc) is if YOU provide it to us through the Contact Form. In absolutely NO other way do we collect information. We are of the belief that it's not right or fair.

Web Site Use Information

Similar to other websites, our site utilizes a standard technology called "cookies" (see explanation below, "What Are Cookies?") and web server logs to collect information about how our web site is used. We have installed Webalizer in order to check out certain site statistics. Those of you familiar with this script know it's harmless. Information gathered through cookies and Web server logs may include the date and time of visits, the pages viewed, time spent at our Web site, and the Web sites visited just before and just after our Web site. That's all we get and care about. What it all boils down to is that NO personal information is collected from this site unless YOU provide it.

How Do we Use the Information That You Provide to Me?

That entirely depends on what you provided us with in the first place... If you contacted us through this site and simply left a comment, we'll see it, think about it, and be done with it. However, if you requested some kind of information, we'll reciprocate. In other words, if you write us and say, "You are cool", consider it appreciated. If you ask us a question, you'll get a response. That's ALL we use info for. Period.

What Are Cookies?

A cookie is a very small text document, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier. When you visit a Web site, that site's computer asks your computer for permission to store this file in a part of your hard drive specifically designated for cookies. Each Web site can send its own cookie to your browser if your browser's preferences allow it, but (to protect your privacy) your browser only permits a Web site to access the cookies it has already sent to you, not the cookies sent to you by other sites.

WordPress (the script we use for the News page) uses cookies. We haven't dissected WordPress's code so we don't know what's in there, but Chris is sure it's harmless. Besides, it would only have any effect anyway if you actually become active in the blog (ie. You leave a comment), but that feature is disabled anyway!

How Do You Use Information You Collect from Cookies?

We don't.

Sharing Information with Third Parties

We hate this & would never do this from our website. Any information sent from this website to us is a PRIVATE matter between us. Period.
